90% of Abler Nordic clients surveyed say their lives have improved: 60 Decibels 2024
Abler Nordic is proud to support the 2024 60 Decibels Microfinance Index, continuing our role as a founding partner of the global survey since 2022. This year's index gathered 1.4 million data points from 126 financial service providers, reaching more than 36,000 clients across 45 countries, in collaboration with 27 partners.
In 2024, 1,930 clients from seven of Abler Nordic’s portfolio companies in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia participated in the survey. Our focus was to understand how financial services have improved the lives of these clients, aligning with our belief that those receiving the services are the best judges of the impact on their own lives.
The 60 Decibels team conducted anonymous telephone interviews in local languages with a randomly selected sample of 275 clients from each company, covering 26 indicators across six dimensions: Access, Business Impact, Household Impact, Client Protection, Resilience, and Agency.
