Upcoming Technical Assistance projects: Terms of Reference
Abler Nordic’s Technical Assistance (TA) program, funded by a NORAD grant, equips emerging financial service providers (FSPs) to meet their growth targets, deliver meaningful development impacts, and establish lasting financial and organizational resilience.
To ensure strong project ownership, the FSPs play an active role in designing TA projects and selecting service providers. They are also required to contribute financially, aligning incentives and commitment. By prioritizing local TA providers in the regions where Abler Nordic invests, the TA Facility not only supports FSP development but also strengthens local expertise and industry know-how.
The TA facility activities are conducted in line with Abler Nordic's goals of:
- Increased access to responsible, relevant and affordable financial services
- More stable income and better resilience to climate and other shocks
- Opportunity for self-employment, job-creation and increased income
- Contribute to women’s economic empowerment through financial inclusion
